1. Structure OR carcass of kitchen-
a. Marble or stone supported- This is water proof and termite proof, but
insects may enter or crawl inside damaging food stuff, and if there is any
damp or seepage on back wall, may damage. Another drawback is its inaccurate,
causing bad or sticky channel movement causing derailment and even loose
front panel and handles.
b. Particle board- this is cheapest in all and has very little screw holding
capacity. Unable to withstand moisture therefore very short life span.
c. Plyboard – this is stronger than particle, needs regular anti termite
treatment.
d. SS Structure- This is factory welded, robust, anti termite, anti rusting
and accurate in shape and size. Gives very good service and lasts long.
This is factory fitted therefore best dimensional accuracy is maintained.
